Sebetulnya sih dah tanggal 21 Maret kemarin tapi telat postingnya saking pingin buru2 posting tentang film 300 Jangan tanya umur, ah, yg pasti setaun lebih tua..

Ada kejadian lucu pa gw beli kue ultah di malem sebelumnya. Gw beli buat temen2 kantor gw & gw minta itu kue dikirim ke kantor gw besok paginya before lunch. Iseng2 gw tanya si mas2 di belakang counter..
“Mas, bisa dikasih tulisan gak kuenya?”
Masnya: “oh, bisa mbak.. Mau tulisan apa?”
Gw: …”mmm….Happy Birthday Me, deh”
eh muka si Masnya langsung berubah geli gitu. Sial.. :p
Gw: “hehe.. narsis banget ya mas.. maap ya mas..”
Masnya: “Owh, ga papa, mbak.. Mmmm….saya tulis HB Me aja ya..” (mungkin maksud dia biar gak terlalu narsis amat… padahal kan emang maunya narsis.. :p)
Gw: “ya, ok mas.” (dalem hati: ya sutralah, mas.. hehe)

Trus sebelum gw pergi si masnya itu ngulurin tangan ke gw. “Selamat ulang tahun ya, Mbak.” “Owh makasiiiihhh….” balas gw sambil senyum girang. Dalem hati sih sebetulnya rada sedih juga.. to the fact that the first person who congratulate me for my birthday was a total stranger.. not someone who’s dear to me.
Ga papa deh… tengs to masnya…!

Have you seen 300 the movie? I watched it with my best friends last Saturday night. It was an AWESOME movie!! Every frame was beautifully rendered.. Every shot was artistic! The atmosphere of the movie reminds me of Frank Frazetta, one of my favorite artist.
back to 300, the movie successfully captured the spirit of the 300 Spartan’s soldiers who weren’t afraid, even a bit, of the Persians who undoubtedly out numbered them. Also altered by the heavy metal soundtrack. Cool!! Gotta have the album!
You MUST see this movie!!
And oh, by the way, despite of how much blood spurting from the chopped body parts or stabbed chests, no blood stained the ground. Hahah… Maybe the artistic team were too exhausted to notice it?
Hey, I still think it’s a damned good movie!

Waiting…
is such a boring job to do, so people say.. Well, it’s not really a ‘job’, actually.. since it has a passive meaning in it. But maybe passiveness is what makes ‘waiting’ a boring thing to do..

Now I’m doing that ‘job’. Yes. Waiting.

And I began to think of Einstein’s relativity theory. “Which situation would you consider to be longer, sitting next to a hot stove, or next to a beautiful woman?” That question SURE makes sense. Not because who said that line was a clever old man, but because I KNOW it’s true. I’m waiting for something now, and it feels like eternity..

And then.. I thought about ‘boredom’.. The feeling we’re experiencing while waiting (of course!) And my mind jump to the scene of Tanah Lot beach I saw the other day.. How the beach awaits for the sea to hit its shore. I closed my eyes.. to hear only the sound of the waves hit the rocky shore.. in a continuous and almost rhytmical sound.. There, the beach and the ocean do what their Creator had told them to do.. Never get bored.. never complain.. till the end of the world…

And I smiled… that day.. nature taught me a very precious lesson..: patience.

So here I am… still waiting.. trying not to complain.. trying not to get bored.. trying to be patience..
So help me God…

I think it’s time for me to take a deep breath.. to take the real journey deep inside myself.. my mind.. my heart.. to have a dialogue with myself and God..
Maybe in the end I will laugh.. coz the answer I’ve been searching for is right there all along.. all this time..
Well… I’m eager to find out…
